Hormel Foods is celebrating National Sausage Month during October in sizzling style. For a limited time, while supplies last, the Austin, Minnesota, USA-headquartered company is bringing back Little Sizzlers original pork sausages, which are now in the freezer sections of supermarkets and other grocery stores.

“Consumers asked, and we answered! We know that customers have loved our Little Sizzlers sausages for years, and we’re excited to be able to bring them back for a limited time,” said Samantha Hovland, senior brand manager of Hormel Black Label bacon. “There’s just nothing else like them in the marketplace. The nostalgic flavor that we all grew up with is irresistible!”

The package design is a nostalgic 1968 retro style with a splash of Hormel Black Label bacon branding, and the sausages inside are made from the same exact recipe launched 54 years ago. In addition to accompanying eggs and pancakes on breakfast plates, the sausage are also popular as sandwich and tack components.

“We decided to make this limited-edition item in a special 4-pound box instead of our previous 1-pound box. We knew that consumers would want to stock up on their favorite breakfast sausage and have plenty to indulge in,” said Hovland.

The product is now retailing for $19.99 at specific retailer locations in the Midwest.
