House of Raeford Co-Packer Recalls Foster Farms Mini Chicken Corn Dogs

Rose Hill, North Carolina-headquartered House of Raeford Farms, a value-added poultry products co-packer, is voluntarily recalling 76,961 pounds of Foster Farms Mini Corn Dogs Bite-Sized Chicken Franks Dipped in Batter Honey Crunchy Flavor sold in 1.83-pound resealable bags. Distributed to retail stores in the United States, the product in question is identified by lot codes 123114 or 223114, plant number “P-9136,” and a “Best if Used By” date of April 23, 2024.

The nationwide recall was triggered by complaints of off odor, color and appearance, as well as unpleasant taste associated with the corn dogs. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the products, but the risk of adverse reaction remains. Consumers should not consume the product and are advised to return packs to the store where purchased for a full refund.
