Iceland Foods and Ninja Team Up to Roll Out Air Fryer Ready Meals Line

Air fryer maker Ninja and Iceland Foods in the United Kingdom have extended their collaboration to launch the brand’s first “air fryer-only” range of frozen ready meals. The products, which began being stocked exclusively at Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores on March 28, are slated to be available at of the chain’s outlets by April 8.

The new line features seven offerings: Ninja Chicken Popsters & Waffle Fries with Cheesy Bacon (380g); Ninja Southern Fried Chicken Strips & Waffle Fries with Southern Fried Gravy (400g); Crispy Chicken Chunks & Fries with Sweet & Sour Sauce (380g); Chicken Nuggets & Dippers with French Fries (400g); twin-pack Ninja Pepperoni Pizza Pockets; Ninja Cheese Pizza Pockets; and Ninja Cheese Pizza Slices.

“With energy prices on the rise, we wanted to make it easier for families to prepare meals without worrying about high cooking costs,”said Iceland Foods Chief Commercial Officer Paul Dhaliwal. “Our new air fryer meals are designed to be both budget-friendly and energy-efficient, offering the convenience of quick and easy preparation while keeping costs down.”

Noting that this debut is not just another range of ready meals, Oliver Gilding, Iceland’s head of innovation and licensing, posted on LinkedIn: “It’s a first of its kind approach to retail product development, designed for speed, convenience, and energy efficiency.
