The Wake Forest, North Carolina-based iDEAL Hospitality Partners procurement group has partnered with night snack category specialist Nightfood to provide hotel operators a sweet way to further support better sleep for their guests. Following a successful “grab-and-go” pilot test with a major hotel chain, award-winning Nightfood ice cream is expected to be introduced in thousands of hotels throughout the USA in the coming months.
Hotels and motels continue investing heavily in sleep aids, upgrading mattresses, pillows, linens, blackout curtains, white noise machines and more. The plan is for them to now extend their sleep-supporting efforts from guest rooms into on-premise “grab-and-go” lobby shops stocked with sleep-friendly Nightfood snacks. Nightfood ice cream contains more sleep-supporting tryptophan, vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium, zinc, prebiotic fiber, and casein protein, with less sugar and fat, and a lower glycemic profile.
“Nightfood is perfect for hotels,” according to iDEAL CEO Jill Rigsbee. “We believe every hotel wants to support better sleep for their guests in every way possible. That includes sleep-friendly snacks.”
“We have a proven track record of strong sales in hotels,” stated Nightfood CEO Sean Folkson. “iDEAL is the perfect partner to accelerate and manage our national hotel rollout.”
