It’s fair to say that during the months of October and November Lutosa will be more than fairly busy meeting and greeting customers and prospects at trade fairs in Europe and further afield. Just after the Oct. 1-3 Conxemar in Vigo, it’s off to Cologne for the Anuga, where the frozen potato products specialist will hold forth at Stand B49 in Hall 4.1 from Oct. 5-9. Another team will be on the scene in Maastricht for the BBB Oct. 7-9.
Then there’s the FAST in Salzburg Nov. 9-13, followed by the Horeca Expo in Gent Nov. 17-21. In between, the China market will be catered to during the FHC in Shanghai Nov. 12-14.
The Belgian supplier will have lots to show and tell at each exhibition, starting with Lutosa Dipsters. Pre-fried in sunflower oil and thus low in saturated fats, the curved french fries offer a “fun shape” that is eye appealing. Available in skin-on and skin-off presentations, the tasty fries are easy to dip and eat from a tapas plate or as a side dish with main meals.
For consumers who prefer to turn up the heat a bit, Lutosa Cajun Fries are made to order. Delicately spiced with cayenne pepper, onion and garlic, the crispy fries serve well on any occasion.
Spicy Noisettes are also on the menu. They feature fluffy mash enriched with coriander, chili and cumin in combination with a crispy crust.
From novelties to traditional fare, there will be lots more to see and sample at the shows, including Mash Bintje, Belgian Croquettes, Dauphines, Pom’Pins and Duchesses.
