Interstate Warehousing, one of the largest public refrigerated warehouse companies in the USA with more than 100 million cubic feet of space available at eight facilities in six states, is enlarging its cold storage distribution center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The expansion will add another 115,000 square feet and 16,000 pallet positions to the premises on Joe B. Jackson Parkway. Approximately 50 new jobs will be created as a result of the project.
The facility was originally built in 2006 and has grown following several expansions over the years. Once the latest addition is complete, the warehouse will encompass more than 500,000 square feet.
“Rutherford County has been an incredible community to be a part of,” said John Tippmann Jr., president of the Fort Wayne, Indiana-headquartered Tippmann Group/Interstate Warehousing group. “We are excited to continue to grow in this area, and look forward to serving customers in this facility for years to come.”
