Pennsauken, New Jersey, USA-headquartered J&J Snack Foods Corp. has expanded its portfolio with a licensing agreement to distribute Auntie Anne’s premium frozen soft pretzel products. The range includes traditional pretzels, pretzel nuggets and pretzel sandwiches currently sold at thousands of retail outlets nationwide.
Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based Auntie Anne’s is the world’s largest hand-rolled soft pretzel franchise, with approximately 1,700 locations in 48 states and more than 25 countries. The company, known for signature lemonade as well as freshly baked soft pretzels, extended its reach into supermarkets and grocery stores in 2013 with the introduction of frozen pretzel SKUs.
“Our frozen products are an important extension of the Auntie Anne’s brand and give our fans the opportunity to conveniently satisfy their cravings anywhere, anytime,” said Heather Neary, president of Auntie Anne’s. “We are excited to partner with J&J to expand our portfolio and better serve our loyal fans.”

Among other brand name retail products distributed by J&J Snack Foods are Minute Maid frozen juice bars and juices, ICEE novelties, Slush Puppy frozen beverages, Oreo Churros and Pillsbury Mini Pies.
