Jan Bouman, former director of coldstores for Samskip Logistics in Rotterdam and general manager of Frigocare Rotterdam, has left the company to become director of Hoogendijk Import Export BV. The Vlaardingen, Netherlands-based operation handles frozen fish and seafood imported from Asia, Africa, the USA and South America, as well exports from Europe to the world and intra-Europe trade.
Hoogendijk specializes in both small and large truck deliveries and sea container shipments to wholesalers, industrial clients, catering companies and other suppliers. Its product assortment includes whole fish, fillets, steaks, shellfish and mollusks. Species run the gamut from Alaska Pollock and blue whiting to bonito, grouper, herring, hoki, lemon sole, seabream, scallops, shrimp lobster, crab and much more.
