Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta Company has announced the formation of a licensing partnership with Legal Sea Foods, the high-profile Boston-based restaurant chain that operates 34 dining establishments along the East Coast of the United States as well as an online ordering service. The agreement enables it to produce frozen seafood products using Legal Sea Foods’ exclusive recipes and premium ingredients.
Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta’s state-of-the-art facility in Haverhill, Massachusetts, makes gourmet pastas, sauces and specialty seafood items for sale to restaurants, foodservice businesses and retail markets across the USA and Canada. Its product line includes a wide variety of value-added retail items including Maine Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli in 16-ounce bags.

Founded in 1991 just north of Boston, Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta got its start by making artisanal ravioli stuffed with cheese, mat and seafood fillings. The company is owned by Brynwood Partners VII L.P., a Greenwich, Connecticut-based private equity firm led by Chairman and CEO Hendrik J. Hartong III.
