For Germans, too, the hamburger is a favorite snack, and Hamburg-headquartered iglo is using this fact in a quest to win over a younger demographic group. Its Käpt’ns Fischfilet Burger, featuring a high-quality coating, is made from 100% Alaska pollock, and can be eaten either on a bun with sauce or on the plate with potatoes and vegetables. This, iglo claims, is the first fishburger of such quality on the frozen retail market.
Two burgers, consisting of 56% fish and 44% breading, are contained in each box. The product comes with a Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certificate guaranteeing that the pollock was sourced responsibly from a sustainable fishery.
