New York-based Kidfresh, the brand featuring frozen meals for children with hidden vegetables in every bite, has expanded distribution into Canada via Whole Foods Market, Ambrosia and other retail stores. This strategic move marks its first entry into a market outside the USA.
“Our products are the first of their kind to enter Canada and are poised to fill the white space in the frozen kids’ meal category. We’re excited to bring a convenient and nutritious mealtime solution for Canadian families,” said CEO Michael Allen.
Kidfresh is launching with four single-serve entrees: Wagon Wheels Mac & Cheese, Spaghetti Loops Meat Sauce, Cheese Pizza Wagon Wheels, and Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese, all of which contain vegetables and offer over nine grams of protein per serving. Free from preservatives and artificial ingredients, each recipe has passed the Kidfresh taste test taken by panel of consumers, including kids aged 6-8, who sample and provide feedback on every product.
