New York City-based Kidfresh has announced the upcoming launches of gluten free and organic products. Gluten Free White Mac ‘n Cheese in 180-gram packs will be available for purchase at retail store frozen food aisles in the spring of 2018. This will be followed by a series of certified organic items, including the rollout of Wagon Wheels Mac ‘n Cheese this summer.
Founded by Matt Cohen and Gilles Deloux, two fathers unhappy with the lack of better-for-you food choices for their little ones, Kidfresh features a line of children’s favorites reinvented and enriched with “hidden” vegetables and wholesome ingredients, without any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. The line of frozen meals is available in over 10,000 stores throughout the USA.
“We’re so excited to introduce these new products,” said Cohen. “Moms have asked us about gluten free options and we’ve worked hard to develop the best tasting White Mac ‘n Cheese out there. Getting into organic is also strategic for Kidfresh, broadening our appeal towards millennials who are more focused on organic ingredients.”
Kidfresh’s pipeline includes more new offerings, such as Ham ‘n Cheese Junior Burritos, which will also available in this spring to meet growing demand for handheld grab-and-go snacks. These products will be previewed for the first time at the Kidfresh booth (#N1909) during the Natural Products Expo West convention taking place in Anaheim, California, March 8-10.
