KIND Healthy Snacks is going mobile from coast to coast across the USA with a truck tour promotion to give away samples of its “Better than Ice Cream” KIND Frozen Treat Bar range. Through August 8, plant-based Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Nut, Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt & Nut, and Mint Chocolate Almond & Nut products will be dispensed free of charge in 10 American cities including New York, Nashville, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Portland (Oregon) and Bentonville (Arkansas).
The New York City-headquartered company has been on a mission to disrupt the frozen treat category since entering the supermarket freezer aisle in 2020, when it began bringing out innovative products made with nutrient-dense ingredients and without any artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols. The treat bars contain only eight grams of sugar, have a calorie count of 180, and offer a good source of fiber.
“Since day one, we have been committed to creating innovative, premium foods that all lead with a nutrient-dense ingredient, but never sacrifice taste,” said CEO Russell Stokes. “We’re really proud of the growth we’ve seen, and want everyone to know that we make tasty, frozen bars too.”
In conjunction with its KIND “Better Than Ice Cream” Truck tour, the company is launching a limited-edition merchandise line inspired by the treat bars. Featured are On Nails, custom stick-on nails to complement the product wrapper, the KIND <3 Plants Waterer, a hanging plant waterer, and frozen tote bag to take the bars on-the-go this summer season.
