Selling at a suggested retail price of $9.99, the Fine Ice Creams House-Baked Cookies provide the same high quality of cookies found in McConnell’s ice creams and scoop shops The flash-frozen treats are ready to serve after oven heating for a few minutes to achieve a melty, gooey interior. Packaged in one-of-a-kind, novelty ice cream pints, the three flavors now available are detailed below.
• Chocolate Chunk: From its buttery, slightly crispy outer shell, to its soft, chewy and gooey core, the melt-in-your-mouth cookie is filled with chunks of bittersweet, Guittard chocolate.
• Brownie Cookie: Deep dark cocoa alongside rich, velvety chunks of Guittard chocolate, with just a touch of sea salt.
• Peanut Butter: With a slightly crackled, crunchy exterior, the center features warm and chewy, salty-sweet and creamy peanut butter. Speckled with salt-roasted peanuts, it’s promoted as a “peanut butter cookie for the ages.”
McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams Organic Fine Ice Creams, priced at $12.99 per container, are made from organic, grass-fed dairy and feature organic cookie and brownie inclusions created from scratch at McConnell’s on-site bake room. The line has debuted with four exciting flavors, as detailed below.
• Brownies, Cookies & Fudge: McConnell’s-own, house-baked brownies and chocolate chunk cookies, folded into lightly salted, organic sweet cream, and topped with swirls of organic, gooey chocolate fudge.
• Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie: Organic dark cocoa, melted into organic milk and cream, then paired with thick, creamy peanut butter, and studded with rich, chocolaty, house-baked brownies.
• Golden State Vanilla: Assertive, rich and floral with Madagascar (Bourbon) vanilla sourced from R.R. Lochhead.
• Strawberries & Shortbread Cookies: Picked-at-their-peak, organic Santa Barbara strawberries, cooked down to jammy consistency, then stirred into decadent sweet cream ice cream, and accompanied by chunks of house-baked shortbread cookies.
