“We are thrilled to be expanding the Men’s Health product line in the UK with our new global partners at Kerry Foods and Fiddes Payne,” said Rob Novick, senior vice president for international business development and partnerships at Emmaus, Pennsylvania-headquartered Rodale Inc., the publisher of Men’s Health. “Our frozen meals and snacks provide men with the tools they need to continue leading healthy, successful and active lifestyles and makes it easy for them to navigate and shop for well-made, nutritious meal options.”
“We’re delighted to be able to extend our food product lines within the UK grocery market. From our reader research we know how important good quality, well-sourced nutrition is to our readership, and our new product ranges tick all the boxes in providing nutritionally balanced meals and snacks based on high protein, natural ingredients,” said Alun Williams, group publishing director in charge of Men’s Health UK, Women’s Health UK and Runner’s World UK.
The two new licensing agreements were brokered by Golden Goose, Men’s Health’s European brand licensing agency, which successfully launched Men’s Health Fuel Beef Jerky in the United Kingdom in 2014.
The brand’s expansion into the food space is part of a larger licensing program in European markets which includes successful lines of vitamins in the UK and Portugal, fitness equipment in Britain, exclusively sold at Argos, as well as branded active body care products sold at dm, Rossman, Mueller, Rewe and Metro stores in Germany.
“Men’s Health Kitchen has been developed closely between the Kerry and the Men’s Health UK team. The expertise of both has come together to create a truly great tasting range, full of protein and flavor,” said Charlotte Bourne, brand manager at Kerry Food.
