Among new products showcased by Lueze-en-Hainaut, Belgium-headquartered Lutosa at the SIAL exhibition in Paris will be Onion Mini Pom’Churros and Spicy Mini Pom’Churros. Made from seasoned mashed potatoes, the Spanish-style novelty is part of the frozen potato specialist’s Finger Food Dip & Eat range.
Other innovative items in the extensive Lutosa assortment to see and sample at Stand M200 in Hall 5a during the October 16-20 fair are: X-tra Crispy Coated Straight-cut Skin-on Fries, Coated Hand-cut Belgian Fries, Krispy Fries, Belgian Croquettes, and Gourmet Mash.
Lutosa, a member of McCain Continental Europe that has roots in the potato trade dating back to 1935, has been active in the frozen sector since 1978. Operating from two production sites in Belgium, exports of its finished products account for 91% of total sales volume. The company’s broad customer base includes industrial further processors, foodservice operators and retailers in more than 125 countries on five continents.
