Lymington, Hampshire, England-based New Forest Ice Cream has launched its first ever vegan products. Two flavors are featured: Vanilla Pod, made with real Madagascan vanilla pod seeds; and Salted Caramel, which serves up a smooth, rich caramel taste with a hint of salt to deliver a balanced sweet and salty flavor sensation.
In addressing growing interest in alternative vegan foods in the United Kingdom and catering to increasing demand for dairy alternatives in the foodservice sector, New Forest has formulated the vegan flavors to assure that consumers with a range of dietary requirements, as well as those making healthier eating lifestyle choices, may indulge in such products for dessert. As vegan diets are continuing to gain in popularity, the need for operators to include quality alternatives to traditional ice cream on their menus has never been greater.
The latest additions in the range are gluten-free and produced in New Forest Ice Cream’s nut-free production facility. Every churned out is tested to meet the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.

The new products, available in 2.4-liter catering tubs, join New Forest Ice Cream’s collection of over 50 flavors, including the real dairy and continental ranges. Alongside this, a large assortment of sorbets and a variety of wrapped ice cream and ice lollies complete the portfolio.
