Oumph! Teams Up with Real Wrap Co. to Serve UK Food-to-Go Sector

Mjölby, Sweden-headquartered Food for Progress has announced that its Oumph! product line of plant-based products has entered the food-to-go segment in the United Kingdom. Starting September 30, in collaboration with Bristol-based Real Wrap Co., distribution will begin to over 35 university foodservice operators as well as to colleges, other schools and hospitals.

The global fusion product range includes:

  • Madras Oumph! Sandwich with red onion, lettuce and mango Chutney
  • Mediterranean Oumph! Sandwich with slow roast tomatoes
  • The Real Oumph! Baguette with BBQ Pulled Oumph!, hummus and sweet pickled vegetables
  • BBQ Sriracha Oumph! Baguette with BBQ Pulled Oumph!, sriracha vegan mayonnaise and coriander
  • Caribbean Jerk Oumph! Baguette with lettuce and mango and chili sals
  • Oumph! ‘Philly Style’ Sourdough Hot Pocket with jalapeno, red Onion and vegan cheese
  • Indian Oumph! Sourdough Hot Pocket with onion bhaji and sweet caramelized onion chutney

All Oumph! products, which are also sold at a number of retail outlets in the UK including Tesco, ASDA and Whole Foods Market, are made from soya beans and organic herb and spice mixes. Each offering is high in protein and fiber and a good source of iron and folic acid.
