Path of Life has debuted a line of organic steel cut instant oatmeal to expand on existing options of convenient SKUs stocked in the frozen food departments of supermarkets in the United States. The non GMO, gluten- and dairy-free products feature fruits.
“We noticed that there was a lack of better-for-you, convenient breakfast items in the freezer aisle, so we wanted to provide consumers with an option that not only tastes good but leaves them feeling good,” said Audrea Fulton, the Naperville, Illinois-based family-owned company’s vice president of sales. “We’re all about clean and simple ingredients, and we are delighted to bring our clean and simple meal solutions to a whole new category.”
The new Organic Steel Cut Oats are now available at Sprouts Farmers Markets nationwide in the following varieties:
• Organic Berry Steel Cut Oatmeal, featuring a blend of cooked oats, apple puree concentrate, blueberries, and raspberries.
• Organic Apple Cinnamon Steel Cut Oatmeal, featuring a combination of organic cooked oats, apple puree concentrate and apples.
Aiming to provide consumers with an easy and effortless way to start their day, each cup checks in at under 200 calories, contains zero grams of trans fat, and zero added sugars. Both offer two servings and are retailing for $5.99.
