Glendale, California-based Real Good Foods Co. has introduced Grande Enchiladas, which are said to be the first large-size low carb, high protein enchiladas of their kind to hit retail store frozen food aisles in the United States.
Instead of using processed flours loaded with carbohydrates, all natural, antibiotic-free chicken breast has been utilized to make the tortilla shells. This grain-free approach creates a balanced macro-nutrient profile of only 2 grams of net carbs, 20 grams of protein per serving.
“Our original enchiladas were one of our most popular offerings, but we knew we could offer a bigger, more satisfying entrée option while still providing the low carb, high protein meal our consumers have come to expect,” said Bryan Freeman, chairman of the company. “We hope this new size serves as another delicious option for our consumers on their health journey.”
Real Good Foods Grande Enchiladas are available in two varieties: Chicken Enchiladas with Tomatillo sauce and Cheese Enchiladas in a red sauce. Distributed in 255-gram packs, each can be found at Costco, Publix and Safeway stores, as well as online
