Birds Eye Ltd. is recalling Goodfella’s Stonebaked Thin Garlic Bread because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label, the UK Food Standards Agency announced on February 5. The frozen product has been mispacked with a garlic bread that contains cheese, which presents a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
A statement from Birds Eye declared: “Due to a packing error, we have identified a small number of packs which contain undeclared cheese. These packs produced in error have only been sold in Co-op stores.”
Distributed in 218g packages, the products subject to recall have a 5020 batch code and best before date of December 2025 printed on the side of the pack, inside the best before end panel.
