The Red Lobster restaurant chain is expanding its Lobsterfest promotion with the addition of Lobster Lover’s Lunch at most of its outlets in the United States. The limited-time weekday menu special offers customers a choice of lobster roll with french fries, a lobster-topped Caesar salad, or one-half lobster and langostino pizza for $9.99. For an additional $3 they may pair it with a side salad or cup of soup.
The sandwich features Maine lobster meat tossed in lemon aioli on a toasted roll split at the top, while the crispy thin-crust pizza is loaded with Maine and langostino lobster meat, melted mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and sweet basil.
Diners can make the entrée complete with New England clam chowder or creamy potato bacon as a soup selection, or go for a side salad. They may also opt to add grilled shrimp to the salad or order creamy lobster bisque as the soup of choice.
The Lobster Lover’s Lunch is served from 11 AM to 3 PM on Monday through Friday. The meal deal is not available at the chain’s Times Square restaurant in New York City, or at Hawaii locations.
Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Red Lobster is the world’s largest seafood restaurant operator. It employs 58,000 people at over 700 units in the USA and Canada, and has a growing international footprint that spans the globe from Mexico City and Sao Paulo to Kuwait, Qatar, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur.
