The Eggo frozen waffle team at Chicago-headquartered Kellanova has teamed up with Two Rivers Coffee Company to transform popular waffle flavors into expertly brewed blends of Eggo Coffee. Just ahead of National Waffle Day on August 24 in the USA and return of the back-to-school breakfast rush in September, the brand known for fast and easy home preparation of waffles is introducing its first-ever caffeinated beverage, Eggo Coffee, in five flavors made to pair nicely with Eggo waffles and to fuel coffee-craving consumers on their busiest days.
Eggo Coffee combines the taste of toasted golden waffles with the rich, aromatic notes of premium coffee. Available in five varieties made from 100% Arabica coffee, each may be paired with the brand’s range of waffles, including the following.
• Blueberry Eggo Coffee: A burst of sweet and tangy berry flavors and a sweet scent. Serve it with Eggo Blueberry Waffles for a very berry-infused breakfast.
• Chocolate Chip Eggo Coffee: This rich taste of melted chocolate chips combined with bold coffee notes goes well with Eggo Chocolatey Chip Waffles.
• Cinnamon Toast Eggo Coffee: An extra cozy experience thanks to its cinnamon-spiced flavor. Double down on the spice and pair it with Eggo Cinnamon Churro Waffles.
• Maple Syrup Eggo Coffee: The taste of toasted waffles drizzled with sweet maple syrup flavor in every sip. Pair it with Homestyle Eggo Waffles.
• Vanilla Eggo Coffee: Inspired by warm Eggo Thick & Fluffy Original Waffles for a rich, robust vanilla coffee, pair it with Strawberry or Blueberry Eggo Waffles for a berries-and-cream flavor experience.
The new coffee line is sold in convenient coffee pods. Twelve-count packs retail for $7.99 and 40-count single flavor or variety packs go for $24.99.
