In a year that marks its 90th anniversary, Jacksonville, Florida-based Shaw Family Seafood Company has established a new division dedicated to non-seafood value-added products. Shaw Culinary will offer an array of recipes and creations that incorporate a variety of proteins including meat, chicken and vegetables, alongside its seafood offerings.
“This strategic decision is an integral part of our longterm vision to leverage strengths and capabilities. For many years, our internal R&D teams have excelled in developing remarkable creations beyond the seafood category. Now, we are excited to formally restructure to harness and market this potential, fostering future growth and profitability,” said Bluzette Carline, director of marketing and business development.
Significant upgrades in infrastructure and resources have been made, including investments in state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology.
“This is an investment to our dedication to evolving with the culinary landscape while staying true to our heritage,” said Howard Shaw, national account executive. “We are committed to maintaining the legacy of excellence that Shaw Family Seafood Company has built over the past 90 years, while embracing new opportunities and expanding into new culinary horizons.”
The new division will be guided by a team of sales experts with knowledge in all protein categories. Business operations will continue seamlessly, now bolstered by the addition of Shaw Culinary non-seafood offerings.
