The Sonic Drive-in restaurant chain in the United States has added two limited time desserts to its menu. Available only through June 27 are the newly launched Cheesecake Blast and Strawberry Cheesecake Blast.
The Cheesecake Blast swirls sweet and creamy cheesecake and buttery graham cracker pieces into Sonic’s real ice cream, and is topped with even more real cheesecake and graham cracker pieces – all served up in a cup. Fruit lovers, meanwhile, will appreciate the real strawberries swirled into the Strawberry Cheesecake Blast.
“From the rich, velvety flavor to the craveable crunch of the graham cracker, Sonic magically perfects the unmistakable experience of indulging in decadent cheesecake, with no fork or plate necessary,” said Scott Uehlein, vice president of product innovation and development for the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-headquartered company.
Founded in 1953, Sonic is the largest drive-in restaurant brand in the United States with more than 3,500 outlets in 46 states. Featuring service provided by iconic carhops, the restaurant’s expansive menu offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and drink options.
