Margate, England-based Specialty Breads Ltd has introduced a new glazed sesame seed-topped brioche roll to the foodservice sector. Positioned as an ideal component for making gourmet burgers of all kinds, the product is especially being promoted among menu makers at cafés, pub, restaurants, garden centers and hotels.
Made with Red Tractor-certified Marriage’s flour sourced from the Essex countryside, the 90-gram rolls are distributed frozen in 48-count boxes. The approximate cost for each unit is 65 pence.
“Demand for our brioche rolls was incredible in 2015, so we have been working hard to ensure that our offering continues to develop when it comes to variety and quality,” said Speciality Breads Managing Director Peter Millen. “With innovation in foodservice kitchens moving at an incredible rate, it’s important that we continue to offer new ideas and unique, high quality products to keep up, and if possible, ahead of trends. ”
Established in 1996, Speciality Breads provides an artisan selection of over 100 frozen bread products including glazed hot dog brioche rolls, ciabatta, multigrain baps, focaccia ovals, cranberry teacake and pan au chocolat.
The product line’s core ingredients run the gamut from white and brown to whole meal, rye, spelt and barley flours, all milled the traditional way on French Burr stones.
