Jacksonville, Florida, USA-headquartered Stellar, a fully integrated company focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services for food packing plants, refrigerated warehouses and other industrial sites, has enlarged its office complex in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to accommodate continued growth and customer demand.
The expansion includes 28 new offices occupying 5,300 square feet of space. That makes for total of 48 offices across 11,300 square feet, which amounts to 80% more space since the Stevens Point workplace opened in 2010. Active on the premises are 37 project managers, engineers and designers – 17 of whom were hired over the past three years.
“This growth is a direct reflection of how we are meeting a critical need in the marketplace,” said Kurt Warzynski, vice president of process engineering for Stellar’s Food Group. “We have seen success through repeat business, exploring new business sectors in the food and beverage market, and offering a wide range of services from master planning to the commissioning of equipment.”
Stellar’s process engineering team at Stevens Point combines an average of 17 years of experience in all key segments of food and beverage facility manufacturing and refrigerated warehouse construction.
Employing more than 750 people worldwide, Stellar has more than 50 support locations and offices throughout the United States, China, the Middle East and North Africa. The company also serves clients in Central and South America, Europe and India.
