TNA Solutions recently received the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Award during the 62nd Australian Export Awards ceremony. Organized by the Australian Export Council and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), the annual event celebrates the international success of Australian companies exporting homegrown innovation to the world.
Headquartered in Sydney Olympic Park, TNA offers a wide range of technologies to meet the diverse needs of the international food industry. The company’s flagship product, the TNA Robag, has been one of the best-selling high-speed vertical, form fill and seal packaging machines of its kind for over four decades. The TNA Ropac 5, ranked as the world’s fastest case packing system for flexible bags, is capable of packing up to 220 bags per minute.
The TNA Arctic 3 vertical form, fill and seal machine, constructed from anti-corrosive stainless steel, produces high-quality bags using polyethylene and laminated films for frozen and fresh food packaging needs.
The company operates globally with over 30 offices and more than 650 employees providing hands-on support to clients. Founded 42 years ago by Alf and Nadia Taylor (pictured fifth and fourth from left in above photo) , who immigrated to Australia in the 1960s, TNA has grown from a single site in Melbourne into an international powerhouse with more than seven manufacturing centers. It has installed 14,000 systems at production plans in over 130 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and the MENA region.
“Being a homegrown Australian brand, we take great pride in our heritage and in bringing Australian manufacturing to the world,” said Alf Taylor, managing director of TNA Solutions.
Winning the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Award rounds out a successful year for the company globally. In September, it opened innovation centers in Woerden, the Netherlands, and Dallas, Texas that help food manufacturers in Europe and North America stay ahead of market demands.
Beyond TNA’s commercial success, the Nadia and Alf Taylor Foundation has supported over 150 charities in 43 countries, directly impacting the lives of more than 20,000 people through healthcare, education and social enterprise programs.
