Tyson Taps Central Foods to Boost Distribution in UK Foodservice Sector

Central Foods has partnered with Tyson Foods’ United Kingdom division to increase distribution of value-added frozen poultry products to independent foodservice market wholesalers in Britain. Among frozen items in the Springdale, Arkansas, USA-headquartered company’s extensive protein portfolio on offer are Hot ‘N’ Kickin crispy chicken wings, chicken breast kebabs and skewers, coated chicken fillets and crispy inner chicken fillets.

“We are very pleased to be working with Tyson Foods to extend its distribution network in the United Kingdom,” said Central Foods Managing Director Gordon Lauder. “Tyson has a reputation for supplying great tasting, high quality food for every occasion, as well as very positive environmental and sustainability credentials.”

Founded in 1935, Tyson Foods, is the second largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef and pork products in the world. The company produces approximately 20% of such products sold in the United States and annually ships the largest percentage of beef output to export markets.
