The Columbus, Ohio, USA-headquartered White Castle fast food hamburger chain, best known for its 100% USDA Beef Sliders, has added Shrimp Nibblers and Seafood Crab Cake Sliders to the menu just in time for Lent. They will be available through April 4.
The Slider features a seafood crab cake topped with creamy creole sauce on White Castle’s signature bun. Last featured in 2019, it’s being offered in all markets and sold individually or as part of a combo meal. The Shrimp Nibblers are bite-sized butterfly shrimp enrobed in crispy breading. Available in all markets except Scottsdale, Arizona, they’re sold in small, medium and sack sizes.
“Our fans are hooked on these seafood delights,” said Jamie Richardson, a vice president at White Castle. “They truly love our seafood options.”
The limited-time-only Seafood Crab Cake Slider and Shrimp Nibblers round out the chain’s seafood lineup, which includes the traditional Panko Fish Slider and Fish Nibblers, both made with wild-caught Alaska Pollock and coated with a savory breading, as well as the light and crispy Clam Strips (in select regions).
In addition to these seafood offerings, White Castle aims to reel in customers with another limited-time offer – the “Mix 6 for $6” Slider variety deal (in all markets except Cincinnati, Ohio). Catering to their own taste preferences, diners can mix and match six Sliders from four options, including he Bacon Cheese Slider and the Chicken Ring Slider.
