Woodland Gourmet has purchased Sevillo Fine Foods, a producer of chef-inspired, ready-to-eat frozen ingredients. The strategic move aims to enhance the Waukegan, Illinois-based buyer’s product portfolio and value-added capabilities, further solidifying its position in foodservice, retail and industrial markets.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, Sevillo supplies a wide variety of culinary ingredients, including fire-grilled vegetables, slow-roasted tomatoes, pickled vegetables, spreads and sauces. Its product line is designed to elevate recipes and reduce preparation time for chefs and consumers alike.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sevillo Fine Foods into the Woodland Gourmet family,” said CEO John Buckles. “Its dedication to quality and innovation complements our vision to cultivate authentic, culinary-forward solutions and experiences for the food industry. This acquisition allows us to expand our offerings and better serve our diverse customer base.”

The integration is anticipated to stimulate significant commercial and cross-selling opportunities, particularly within the USA foodservice distribution channel. Combined capabilities will strengthen and scale the development of custom products and flavors that are tailored to the needs of customers.

“Joining forces with Woodland Gourmet is an exciting opportunity to expand our operations and bring our expertise and award-winning products to a broader audience,” said Jeff Babikian, owner of Sevillo Fine Foods. “Together, we seek to offer unique customer solutions enabled by a diverse portfolio, enhanced capabilities, and the same unwavering commitment to quality and flavor.”
